Wholesale Hvac Units
Buying HVAC units in wholesale are often offered a low price than those available in market. The distributors reach the units at this price and then sold up with retail rates to public. When you buy anything wholesale, you are almost always going to buy it in bulk. Because of this, it is unlikely that a consumer who is not in the HVAC service industry will be able to obtain wholesale prices on HVAC equipment. However, there are plenty of other ways to cut down on your heating costs this winter.
One way is to use insulation properly. If you've got an attic install some additional insulation before winter comes. Add more insulation under floors above your basement as well. Filling cracks and holes can also make a big difference in the efficiency of your home heating system. Use expansion foam to fill in cracks in small spaces like under cabinets in your kitchen and bathroom. Expansion foam can be bought from most any hardware or home improvement store and comes in an aerosol spray can. Once sprayed, it expands to fill the spaces.
Another thing you want to buy is some weatherstripping for doors and windows. At the bottom of your doors you can use draft stoppers which prevent air from entering your home. To make your own draft stopper just roll up some thick towels and shove them against the door. If you want something more creative try a decorative draft stopper. I've seen ones that look like reindeer, snowmen and even Santa Claus. If you're handy with the sewing machine you could even make your own just as you would make a homemade pillow. Just make it long enough to cover the bottom of your door.
Wholesale HVAC units are available to the professionals. If you are shopping for a new HVAC heating system get estimates from at least three contractors. The costs of parts and labor can vary from company to company. Many contractors are more than willing to provide you with an estimate in an attempt to get your business. Competing contractors mean more savings for you. Just make sure the company you choose has all the proper licenses and is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.
